That result saw Celtic move six clear of Rangers, with the Hoops’ next game that huge Glasgow derby clash next Saturday lunchtime. Rangers will, of course, have the chance to cut that deficit back to three points when they welcome Kilmarnock to Ibrox today. While Philippe Clement‘s men still have that task to negotiate, Celtic and manager Rodgers can now begin to turn their attentions to next weekend. And it seems like Rodgers is in a particularly relaxed mood heading into a game that will be a defining one in this year’s title race. Firing warning to the Light Blues, Rodgers says his team will be “on fire” next weekend. And he’s even looking forward to having “a bit of fun”. Relaxed Rodgers, who’s revealed he’ll take a trip to the seaside instead of watching Rangers’ clash with Killie, reckons things are fully coming together just at the right time. He said: “I said before the first six months were a challenge for everyone and everything. “But now you start to see a bit more of what a Celtic team of mine should look like. “And still with a lot of work to do to get it to that point. Instead, he’ll be enjoying a quiet day out. He revealed: “No, I won’t be. I’m heading out with my family tomorrow. “I’ll be going up to the seaside up north and enjoying a bit of time up there. “I’ll be resting and spending time with the family.” Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page
