Bark Air announced that more routes are currently in the works for man’s best friend. “It’s a big world and we know you want to sniff it all,” the website reads, addressing the dogs. “So, while we’re starting with the New York City, Los Angeles, and London metro areas, we’ll be adding more domestic and international routes soon. “Please let us know if there’s a particular part of the world you want to pee on.” FLY HIGH, PAY HIGH Bookings are currently open, but they may break the bank for pet-owners. A one-way ticket from the New York City area to Los Angeles is currently priced at a whopping $6,000. Taking a trip across the pond may hurt the wallet even more, with a one-way trip from New York City to London priced at $8,000. In the FAQ section of their website, Bark Air said they were aware that the prices are high, but there’s hope for better deals in the future. “Our goal over time is to bring the ticket cost down significantly as we scale,” Bark Air said. LIVING THE LIFE Besides beverages like “doggie champagne” the company promises a “white paw service” for your dog. “The cabin will be prepped with calming aids such as: pheromone, music, warm lavender scented refreshment towels, and other comforts to help each dog feel settled,” Bark Air said.
